Dayton Band Photography: The Redtone Sixes

I was SO excited for this session with The Redtone Sixes’ front-woman Stephanie for the cover of their upcoming album. The concept was to juxtapose her ’50s look–and the innocence of that era–with the red box (to represent the album, “The Pleasure Box”). You can check out there music here.

First, a couple behind-the-scenes shots. The ever-awesome Liz (check out her new website here) joined in to do Stephanie’s makeup. Think, “Punk rock Lucille Ball.” Liz rocked it out–I couldn’t believe how awesome Stephanie’s makeup looked!

Yes, Liz’s nails match Stephanie’s eyeshadow. And, yes, that is my living room :)

I LOVE that pop of red!

This one is different from the other shots, but as soon as I took it, it reminded me of “Fancy,” and knew I had to include it (confession: its totally one of my guilty pleasure songs).
