Dayton Old Court House Wedding: Tonya & Jake

A couple weekends ago I got to hang out with the sweet-as-pie Louise and help shoot a wedding at the Old Court House in Dayton. It was an absolutely stunning location that allowed for beautiful pictures, despite the fact that it was pouring all day!

First I spent a little time with the men, while they got ready…

…then headed upstairs to wait with the bride. I loved her style–how gorgeous is that bouquet?

The “first look”! I wouldn’t ever want to push a couple to see each other before their wedding if they didn’t want to but, between the rain and a really tight schedule, we were so grateful to have the chance to get portraits of the couple before the ceremony.

This picture is definitely an outtake, but I love it! It just exactly portrays the moment right after the “perfect” picture is taken :)

Don’t tell–we might have snuck into the “un-renovated” part of the building for just a minute! :)

The Court House had this huge old safe, big enough for several people to fit inside–so cool!

Thanks so much to Louise for asking me to come along!
