Custom Shootsac Cover

I got a Shootsac last Christmas, and have loved it! It is basically a bag for carrying your lenses and other essentials while you shoot. It doesn’t do everything but what it does, it does incredibly well.

It comes with a plain, black cover–boring! You can purchase other covers, but I wanted one that represented myself and my brand. I first looked into have a custom cover embroidered, but that was going to be rather expensive. So, I decided to have a go at making one myself.

Shootsac with logo cover

I was worried about the bee printing correctly, with all those little lines (I used my my Yudu to print the fabric). And, as much as I wanted it to represent me, I want it to be subtle–I will be carrying it at weddings! So I decided to just go with the text of my logo, and I’m SO happy with how it turned out.

Plus, in the time that the emulsion, screen, and print were drying, I was able to whip up that skirt that I’m wearing in the picture, from .99 thrift store fabric–wahoo!
